How to Make Veasna's 'Bor Bor' Rice Porridge (បបរ)

This week a popular breakfast in Cambodia, Khmer style ‘Bor Bor’ Rice Porridge, this is our version of the Chinese ‘Congee’. Add whichever accompanying herbs you like best, Kampot Pepper works too.

 

‘Bor Bor’ Rice Porridge
បបរ

1 cup White Rice (អង្ករ)
500g Chicken (សាច់មាន់)
200g Mushroom (ផ្សិត)
100g Spring Onion (ខ្ទឹមម៉្យាងដើមតូច)
7 Garlic (ខ្ទឹមស)
2 Red Chilli (ម្ទេសក្រហមពីរ)
2 Lime (ក្រូចឆ្មា)
Water (ទឹក)
Saw Mint (ជីរបន្លា)
1 tsp Salt (អំបិល)
1 tsp Chicken Stock (ម្សៅសាច់មាន)
