Khmer Stir Fried Spicy Pork & Holy Basil (សាច់ជ្រូកម្រះព្រៅ)

Ingredients (គ្រឿងផ្សំ)

  • Pork (សាច់ជ្រូក) – 300g
  • Holy Basil (ម្រះព្រៅ) – 50g
  • Garlic (ខ្ទឹម) x 4 cloves
  • Chilli (ម្ទេស) – 1-3 (up to you!)
  • Salt (អំបិល) – pinch
  • Sugar (ស្ករ) – 2 tsp
  • MSG (optional) – pinch
  • Stock (ម្សៅសាច់មាន) – 1 tsp
  • Oyster Sauce (ងាវសមុទ្រទឹកជ្រលក់) – 1 tbsp

Another easy local favourite.. so much flavour from just a few ingredients. Add as many chillies as you can handle!

  1. Chop pork into small pieces
  2. Chop again until finely ground
  3. Chop garlic and chilli
  4. Heat pan, add oil and then garlic
  5. Add chopped pork
  6. Add salt, sugar, stock and oyster sauce
  7. Add holy basil and stir over heat until flavours combined
